The Taco Bell Promo set was released as part of a promotional event starting on the 13^th of July 2000 and ended on the 9^th of September 2000. Each kids meal came with a bag that contained a plastic Digivice case that held 3 tin Digimon character cards inside. The Digi-Battle Promo card was loose inside the bag outside of the plastic Digivice.

Along with the Digimon cards in the set, there were also 4 "Tip Cards" that gave advice on how to play the game.
